Senior Women's and Senior Men's Coaching Position

Maiden Gully Marist Cricket Club is looking for enthusiastic

and qualified Head Coaches to lead, grow and develop the

Women’s Cricket Program and Males Cricket Program.

The head coaches will be responsible for the following tasks:

● Plan, organise and run a pre-season training program and two training sessions per week during the season.

● Ensure training sessions are of a high standard that both provides quality outcomes for players and provides an enjoyable environment for players to participate in.

● Coordinate selection of the teams with captains / selection panel.

● Embrace MGMCC club values and set standards for our players in regard to playing, training and behaviour.

● To develop and mentor all players within our four male and one female senior teams playing on turf and synthetic.

● Continue to grow, develop and support our junior divisions and players.

● Educate all players in all aspects of cricket on and off the field.

The head coaches will have the following qualities:

● Reliable and Club Oriented.

● Ability to provide feedback to the players, captains and committee members.

● Excellent communication skills with Juniors (Parents) and Seniors.

● Growth of the playing group and club.

● Improvement in player techniques in all facets of the game.

● Committed attitude in achieving goals.

● Organised and delegate when required.

● Willingness to work within club policies and procedures in place.

● Participation and attendance at club functions.

Essential

● Level 1 Cricket Australia Coaching Accreditation (or equivalent)

● Current Working With Childrens Check

● Current drivers’ licence

Desirable

● Level 2 or 3 Cricket Australia Coaching Accreditation (or equivalent)

● Prior coaching experience of players of all level and skills

Experience

● Experience coaching player of all levels and skills

● Experience developing and implement training programs suitable for players of all skill levels

● Strong communication and organisational skills

Remuneration

● A flexible remuneration package is available depending on the candidate and relevant experience.
